CHORLTON ARTS FESTIVAL
The Internation Intervention Clash Mob, of which I am a third, will be ‘intervening’ and filming in Chorlton bus stops on Thursday 5th May 2011. The project is a collaboration between an artist (me), a film-maker and a visual stylist and investigates the life of the bus stop when faced with something a bit different!
FILM SCREENING
Thursday 19th May 2011 – 7.30pm at Oddest, Chorlton
Free Event – just turn up and enjoy the show.
Question and answer session with the cast and crew following the screening.
NEW WORK AT NIP & TIPPLE
To celebrate the Chorlton Arts Festival I am busy producing new work to be exhibited from Friday 13th May 2011 at the Nip & Tipple.
The work uses text and a range of familiar and unusual materials to investigate relationships, mental health and isolation. The work complements my up and coming Chorlton Arts Festival work with Bread Art Collective and my Open Discussion ‘Wordy Women’ at Chorlton Library on Monday 23rd May. This is an open discussion with artist Jacqueline Wylie and Illustrator Caroline Coates. The event is open, so just turn up from 7pm on 23rd to the library.

A Gorgeous Art Show – 22-31 October – Opening Event 22nd Oct 6-9pm
At: POD – Post Office Deli, Albert Rd, Levenshulme
This event was a roaring success, with visitors from across Manchester attending and perusing the artwork in the relaxed setting of POD. Following the exhibition I have been commissioned to produce 2 individualised artworks and sold a number of pieces. Many thanks goes to POD for hosting the event and making it successful.
