The study describes the structural and environmental systems employed in the Kunsthaus Bregenz, designed by Swiss architect Peter Zumthor. The study makes reference to construction, details design and climatic function of the building. Although over 10 years old, this building still stands as an exemplary climatic modifier – with a unified system to maintain internal climate within required parameter. Energy use is, evidently, much lower than other buildings of this size and typology. The images show the elements of detail that work together to create a unified system and experience for the user of the building.
