Artist’s Studio to Let – Manchester

A trusted crafter from our December Craft Fair, Lucy Gaughan, has a studio available for share in Manchester’s wonderful Craft and Design Centre in the Northern Quarter.  Here’s a bit about what Lucy has to say about the space and what is on offer:

‘I am a textile designer and have a studio/shop space in Manchester’s Craft and design Centre in the Northern Quarter and am currently looking for someone to come and join me to share the space.

I specialise in digitally printed fashion accessories and greetings cards, so am looking for someone whose work would complement mine in the shop, ideally I would want someone who would also use the same equipment so that the workshop space wouldn’t have to be altered too much (I have an industrial sewing machine and an overlocker that can be shared) although I am flexible about this.

The craft centre is open 6 days a week, so the space would be for three of those days per week with rotating Saturdays, and the shop has to be open 10-5.30pm.

Rent is £138.50 per month exclusive of bills, but the centre is open as a retail outlet so you are able to sell your stock as well as use it as just a studio.

Any sharer has to undergo a brief application procedure to ensure a high level of work is maintained within the centre so if you are interested please drop me a line with some images of you work, and a bit about what you do.’

If you’re interested in this space, you can email Lucy: lucygaughan@googlemail.com or give me a call and I will put you in touch with her:  Emily: 07870 360213

Hi Dan,

The post is very old and it’s not my space, I was advertising for a friend. You could try Rogue Arts Studios or Bankley Studios in Levenshulme.

All the best. Emily
